Located in the interior of Alaska, Fairbanks has so much to offer! Available positions

Associate Veterinarians (Full-time)

Minimum requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or foreign equivalent). Applicants with equivalent foreign degrees must have ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary
Graduates) Certification. Three (3) years of experience as a Veterinarian. Must have Veterinarian License in the State of Alaska.

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000/year

Job Description: Diagnose and treat the medical conditions and diseases of small animals, including felines and canines and other small animals. Perform laboratory diagnostics and basic cytology, including taking samples and interpreting results for bloodwork, urine, ear swabs, and impression spears. Perform basic endoscopic procedures for rhinoscopy, tracheoscopy, otoscopy, etc. Perform diagnostic imaging (including but not limited to radiography, abdominal ultrasounds, and pregnancy scans). Perform dental procedures, routine and emergency soft tissue surgeries (including but not limited to wound repair, neuters, splenectomy, and tumor removal), and orthopedic surgeries involving basic osteosynthesis.
